Public Hi-Fi, Jim Eno and Brad Bell’s recording studio/record label, will be releasing three of these Single Sessions per year. This most recent release features artwork from one of Dana Falconberry’s linoleum block prints, with some collaboration from Philip Neimeyer. Blue-black ink over a heavy lay of silver.
That heavy lay of silver offset onto the back of the screen when we printed the second color, which looked kind of eerie and rad.
Philip Niemeyer himself is worth checking out – a prolific and inspiring designer/artist/filmmaker who recently relocated back to Austin from Brooklyn. He regularly curates excellent art shows at his design consultancy Northern Southern.
* EDITED * The Sondre Lerche insert designed by Alyce Waxman also featured some rich metallic ink – two-color black and gold print. We originally attributed this design to Phillip, but turns out he did the production. We love the final product very much.
Been a pleasure working with these folks, can’t wait to see what they put out next.
